Workshops
A workshop with Parent Support Center is designed to cover a specific parenting topic in a single session to a larger audience. These sessions usually range from 90 minutes to three hours and can be customized to address the needs of your group. Workshops are great as an introduction to the Caring Discipline curriculum and benefit teachers, support staff or any adults seeking an effective strategy for classroom management.

Supporting the Building Blocks to Self-Esteem & Emotional Intelligence
This 90-minute workshop covers an introduction to the Caring Discipline curriculum, which is based on Abraham Maslow's philosophy of human nature, and the principle of disciplining children with love and respect. Understand why children are misbehaving, and learn caring ways to respond.

Avoiding the Power Struggle
This 90-minute workshop covers the "how to avoid the power struggle" from the Caring Discipline curriculum, which is based on Abraham Maslow's philosophy of human nature, and the principle of disciplining children with love and respect. Learn how we often sabotage our discipline and learn tools to identify and correct misbehaviors.
